Bringing the world to your cup.

I am not a beverage maker. I am a government employee. Or I was… I have served the public in various ways for over ten years. But I have dreamed of starting my own company for a long time. Or rather, my own café. I know, I know, it’s a tired cliché! But it isn’t, and wasn’t, how it sounds—I swear. I wasn’t a miserable paper-pusher dreaming of a relaxed coffeehouse environment where I could live out a sitcom-esque lifestyle, participating in witty banter with regular customers. I loved my jobs in the public sector. I got to weigh in on meaningful policy matters and have tons of fun learning MS Excel. Yes, I’m as nerdy as it gets when it comes to Excel.

But there has always been another side of me… one only my friends and family know of – the traveler, the adventurer, the hitchhiker. I have been traveling the world since before it was glamorous. And even, before it could be captured on social media. My first trip was a solo adventure to India for gods sake! Everyone thought I was insane, but travel was my therapy. It became my religion—symbolizing freedom, bravery, and privilege all at once. And if travel is a religion, then food is the first sacrament.

So my dream of opening a café was not about lounging in a coffeehouse, it was about bringing to people the experiences of the traveled tongue. In all my time traveling internationally, I found the best way to connect with a culture was to eat and drink it.

That’s why I started this company, to bring a little culture from around the world into your home and specifically, your cup, because for most folks the day starts with coffee.

So here I am trying to show you and sell you, how the world wakes up; the little treats on the streets of some of the best cities; and hopefully something you didn’t know.

Enjoy!
